IRLOGI Executive Committee

Mallon Technology is proud to announce that Niamh O'Keeffe has been selected to join the IRLOGI executive committee for the coming year.

IRLOGI was formed in 1995 to represent the Irish GI community. Its mission is to stimulate the development and effective use of Geographic Information in Ireland. The organisation's strategic objectives are to act as a focus for the collection, exchange and dissemination of geographic information, to encourage the development and adoption of quality and reliability standards for GI, to represent the interests of the Irish GI community nationally and internationally, and to encourage and support education and training in GI.

Niamh became a member of the IRLOGI executive committee in November 2013 and attends monthly meetings with other 'EXCOMM' members where progress on the main portfolio groups of education, policy and commercial are discussed. At present they are making future plans for 'IRLOGI 2014', their annual conference. The theme of this year's conference will be 'The Future of Geographic Information' for which the committee is currently sourcing keynote speakers.
