Mallon is delighted to announce we will be attending this years’ AGI–NI Annual Conference as Platinum sponsors.
The AGI–NI Annual Conference is the main focal point on the calendar for GI professionals in Northern Ireland and is returning this year following a break last year due to COVID. As such, the conference this year has moved to an online virtual platform but will still feature the usual mix of interesting presentations, talks and discussions. The theme of the conference for 2021 is ‘Geographic Information: Supporting A Sustainable Future‘.
Where: Online Virtual Platform
When: 17th June
Due to the virtual nature of the conference you sadly will be unable to connect with us in person at the event. However, representatives from Mallon will be on hand to connect with delegates via the activity feed during the breaks and networking sessions.
If you connect with us on the day, you will have an opportunity to learn more about Azimap web GIS and its recent User Interface update. The changes made to Azimap’s User Interface has improved the end experience for all users, making it easier than ever before to create maps, analyse your data and gain meaningful and actionable insights.
We will also be on hand to discuss our industry–leading GIS and Remote Sensing services that are helping our clients to plan with confidence and stretch their ambition further by providing them with the widest possible view and deepest possible insight.
As well as sponsoring the event, Mallon will also be delivering a presentation to delegates. Micheal Foley will be representing Mallon during his discussion titled; ‘Gathering Information: Pixel based analysis and landcover classifications’. Micheal’s presentation is very much in line with the theme of the conference and will explore how EO data can be utilised to increase sustainability in the agricultural industry and food supply chain.
You can catch Micheal’s presentation in the 11.00 to 11.30am lighting talk session.
