Every day thousands of people have been putting their uniforms on to help us, protect us, keep us safe and to save lives!
With the country currently under lockdown conditions, the rules have changed for everyone! With formal workwear no longer practical when working from home, the country has grown used to working in more relaxed attire. Recognising this, some of Ireland’s most prominent radio stations and media brands joined forces to support charities who are aiding front line workers in the fight against COVID 19, with the launch of Formal Friday!
Formal Friday encouraged anyone who was working from home to dress up to show support and to fundraise for our heroes who are helping to keep us all safe during this pandemic. This was a challenge that Mallon Technology’s colleagues fully embraced and had some fun with last Friday. While we couldn’t meet in person, we were still able to have plenty of entertaining virtual meetings that fully showcased our colleague’s fantastic formal wear and styles.
As well as taking part in Formal Friday, everyone who dressed up was encouraged to also contribute to the fundraising page. To date, the fund has raised a massive €162,500 and counting! Thank you to all our colleagues who took part in Formal Friday, you can see a gallery of their formal wear below! If you would like to contribute to the fund, please click on the link below.
Finally, Mallon Technology would like to give a big thank you to all our Frontline Heroes who are working tirelessly to keep us fed, collect our rubbish, ensure deliveries arrive and to those who are ultimately keeping us safe during this challenging period! We truly appreciate all the work you are doing and hope the money raised will give you a boost and help to keep you smiling through all this.
