Mallon Technology Finalist in Further DM Award Categories

Mallon Technology is delighted to announce that we are finalists in a further Document Manager Award category!

We are shortlisted as a finalist for the Private Sector of the Year Award, providing recognition of the hard work and dedicated customer service provided by our Document Capture team. Explicitly, the shortlisting recognises the services we provided to the Linen Hall Library in digitising material from their ‘Divided Society’ collection.

The digitisation of the Linen Hall Library’s ‘Divided Society’ collection is one of the most important archival projects taking place in Northern Ireland at the moment. The collection consisted of hundreds of unbound, stapled periodical titles published between 1990 – 1998. It forms a significant resource for the period as well as the centrepiece for two new exhibitions and outreach events.

Mallon Technology digitally captured the collection for the Linen Hall Library as part of efforts to provide greater public access by making it available online via a dedicated resource website.

Unlike the other two awards Mallon Technology is nominated for, the Private Sector Project of the Year Award cannot be voted on. The winner is decided by a judging panel that includes the editor of Document Manager Magazine to be revealed at the award ceremony in November.

Speaking about the announcement, Ruth O’Kane, Services Project Manager stated;

“We are delighted to be shortlisted for a further DM Award. The Linen Hall Library project was a fascinating project to work on and we proud to help improve public access to a nationally important resource.”

Voting is still open for the other two awards Mallon Technology is nominated in. To vote for us in the BPO/Outsourcing/Bureau Business of the Year or Service/Support Company of the Year awards, please hit the button below.
