Mallon Technology attend Career Encode Launch

Last week, Mallon Technology were delighted to attend the launch event for successful Career Encode applicants.

Held at the Northern Regional College in Ballymena, where the successful applicants will be completing part of their studies, the event announced the names of successful apprentices and the employers they will be working for.

Career Encode

Career Encode was launched last year as a collaboration between 9 local companies to increase the supply of IT professionals in the region. Working in collaboration with Northern Regional College, the 9 companies have all offered jobs to local school leavers and career changers, enabling them to get an internationally recognised Foundation Degree accredited by Ulster University whilst gaining valuable work experience.

The Earn as you Learn Higher Level Apprenticeship provides applicants with the opportunity to receive a full salary and gain a Foundation Degree without having to pay university fees or run up student debts.

Our Successful Applicant

Following the launch event, we are excited to announce that David Lysakowski, from St. Mary’s in Limavady has been selected as the Career Encode Apprentice for Mallon Technology.

Speaking about David, our Product and Services Manager, David McQuillan stated, “We were really impressed with David’s application, his attitude and his passion for software. He has achieved outstanding results in his studies so far and we are very much looking forward to welcoming him into the team, here in Cookstown.”

David will be joining our team in September when the course year starts!
