We are excited to announce that we will be attending this year’s GeoData All Ireland Showcase, hosted by GeoAware in Croke Park’s Conference Centre, Dublin.
Taking place on Wednesday 25th April, the event provides delegates with access to educational talks, an exhibition showcasing the latest geospatial products and services as well as the opportunity to network with peers throughout the GI industry in Ireland. Attended by users of geographic information from both the public and commercial sectors, GeoDATA Ireland is the ideal environment to build new relationships, source new products, gain advice on innovation and extend your knowledge of a fast–moving industry.
We are excited to announce that, this year, we will be exhibiting at GeoDATA Ireland and will be represented by Michael McQuillan and Sean Cleary. They are looking forward to networking with our industry peers and the opportunity to showcase the latest developments and updates to Azimap as well as discussing how our GIS and Remote Sensing services have helped organisations to transform their services. In particular, they will be on hand to explain how Azimap is helping Local Authorities to increase productivity and improve internal processes as well as how organisations have utilised our GIS expertise to help them complete large projects.
Additionally, we will also be delivering a presentation during the event. Michael McQuillan will be on the main stage from 12pm to discuss Healthy Incentives for a Healthy Environment. His presentation will explore the use of GI to overcome barriers that are preventing activity and a healthy attitude in areas of deprivation. In particular, the presentation will provide an assessment of how technology and GI can be utilised by local councils to improve the health of the public and to encourage citizens to exercise more frequently.
