With just over a week until Christmas, staff across Mallon Technology were feeling feeling Christmassy and full of Festive Spirit as they took part in Christmas Jumper Day 2017.
The annual event, championed by Save the Children, is an opportunity for everyone to get together and help to make the world better by wearing a sweater. Save the Children works tirelessly across the globe, running world class programmes that save lives and help to give forgotten children around the world a brighter future.
This year, staff from across all of Mallon Technology’s teams got into the spirit of the campaign by wearing their favourite Christmas knits into work. There were some fantastic jumpers on display from Christmas trees and snowmen to elves and Santa Claus all of which can be seen in the gallery below. Thanks to the efforts and generosity of our colleagues the company managed to raise a fantastic €198.
By getting involved with Christmas Jumper Day, Mallon Technology will be helping to give the world’s children a brighter future. The money raised by our teams will be used to help children in a number of different ways, with:
- £25 helping to provide water for a child at school in Ethiopia for 5 months
- £50 helping to reach 5 children in Somalia with essential health services
- £100 helping to give 5 school pupils daily lunches for an entire month in Kenya
