This Christmas, staff throughout Mallon Technology will be taking part in Christmas Jumper Day to raise funds for Save the Children.
The annual event sees people across the country turn up to work in their best or favourite festive knitwear! The day has been championed by Save the Children as an opportunity for everyone to get together in festive gear and donate to help save children’s lives around the world. Save the Children works tirelessly across the globe, running world class programmes that save lives and challenging world leaders to keep their promises to give children a brighter future.
By taking part in Christmas Jumper Day this year, Mallon Technology will be helping to give the world’s children a brighter future. Money raised by the teams in Mallon Technology will be used to help children in a number of different ways, with:
- £1 helping to pay for oral rehydration salts to help provide life–saving treatment to 16 children sick with diarrhoea
- £2 helping to pay for winter shoes for a young child in Afghanistan
- £5 helping to pay for educational toys to help children in the UK learn through playing
- £10 helping to pay for pre–school learning in the Philippines
