Looking Back at a Successful NILGA Conference 2017

Last week we attended the NILGA‘s annual conference, a key event that promotes the sharing of knowledge, skills and ideas throughout the local government sector.

This year’s event was focused around the economy and the global opportunities that are available to help transform the local government sector in Northern Ireland. In attendance were some of the most influential and innovative local government professionals in Northern Ireland, Great Britain and beyond. With its large exhibition space, the conference provided a fantastic opportunity for Mallon Technology colleagues to network directly with local government officials and showcase our products and services that could help to transform the local government sector.

At our exhibition stand this year we were able to demonstrate our products to a large number of delegates, celebrities and Members of Parliament. Visitors to our stand included, Noel Thompson, presenter of BBC Radio Ulster’s Good Morning Ulster show and this year’s conference host and James Brokenshire, the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, who chatted extensively about the role technology can play in transforming and improving local government services.

On our stand, we showcased our decades long experience working with Local Government, helping to improve performance, drive efficiencies and enhance services. In particular, delegates were provided with demonstrations of the latest updates to Azimap as well as information about our GIS and Document Capture services. Thank you to all those who attend the conference last week and took the time to visit our stand. If you were unable to make it to the NILGA conference or missed us at the event and would like to learn more about Azimap or our Document Capture services then please do get in touch with us.
