As part of our Charity Challenge this year, staff in our Cookstown office have been holding a monthly Casual Friday event in an effort to raise funds for our nominated charity MapAction.
Taking place on the last Friday of every month, staff in the office have generously paid to wear their own casual clothes in to work. The event which started in October has been very well supported by staff throughout the Cookstown Office and has helped to foster a community spirit across different departments whilst also creating a positive feel good factor on a Friday ahead of the weekend!
A big thanks must be given to all those who took part in the event and got involved with the spirit of the occasion. As a result of their efforts, they managed to raise a total of £250 which Mallon Technology has generously agreed to match making the total raised a fantastic £500. The funds raised will go a long way to helping support MapAction as they seek to save lives and minimise suffering by making the response to humanitarian emergencies as targeted, efficient and effective as possible.
