Once again, Mallon Technology staff in Dublin worked together to organise the annual Great Irish Bake in aid of Temple Street Children’s Hospital. The hospital’s one important goal is to help save the lives of critically ill children in Ireland now and for generations to come.
There were more delicious goodies and treats for sale this year, including scones, lemon cupcakes, butterfly buns, chocolate biscuit cake, cookies and fudge. In addition to those were a number of treats catering for different food allergies this year, including gluten free blueberry muffins, and dairy and egg free gingerbread men.
Thanks to the efforts of all the bakers who gave up their weekend to help bake for the event. Their efforts were worthwhile as the team managed to raise a fantastic €479. A huge thank you must also be given to all those who purchased any cakes, buns, biscuits or treats. It was great to see staff getting involved in what turned out to be an extremely successful and fun charity event. Mallon Technology has generously offered to match the amount raised to bring the total donation to an outstanding €958.
