With 2015 drawing to a close, many are looking forward to the New Year ahead and are starting to plan all their activities, holidays and events for 2016 and with this in mind, Caroline Keily from our Portlaoise team has been selling calendars to raise funds for the Mo Chara Animal Rescue.
Based in Thurles, Co. Tipperary, Mo Chara Animal Rescue exists to improve the welfare of all Irish animals and particularly those that are abused neglected and abandoned. Following rehabilitation and/or attempts to reunite animals with their owners, Mo Chara Animal Rescue re–homes animals in its care into loving, carefully vetted homes, ensuring that the welfare and best interests of the animals remains a priority throughout.
This year, Mo Chara Animal Rescue were one of the many nominated charities to receive the 2016 All For Animals calendars to sell. All money raised from the sale of the calendars goes directly to the charity. Caroline took 45 calendars from the charity and with great support from her family, friends and work colleagues managed to sell them all. Thanks to Caroline’s efforts she managed to raise an outstanding €274 for the charity, which Mallon Technology is matching to make the final sum raised a fantastic €548. A huge well done must be given to Caroline and a big thank you to all of those who supported her in buying a calendar.
