With Christmas just around the corner, the staff at Mallon Technology got into the Festive Spirit by taking part in Christmas Jumper Day 2015.
Christmas Jumper Day is an annual fundraising campaign organised by Save the Children. The campaign encourages everyone to have some festive fun by dressing up in their Christmas Jumpers all day at work or at school, to raise money for a very worthwhile cause. Save the Children work around the globe running world–class programmes, saving children’s lives and challenging world leaders to keep to their promises to provide children with a brighter future.
All the teams at Mallon Technology got into the spirit of the campaign and everyone enjoyed themselves on the day. There were a number of questionable jumpers on display but these could be explained by the inter–company competition to find the worst Christmas Jumper and were not a reflection on any individuals fashion sense! A big well done (or commiseration) must be given to Dean Thom who walks away with the prize thanks to his contribution on the day!
Overall, the event helped to raise a fantastic €303 for Save the Children which the company has generously agreed to match, making the final sum raised a huge €606! A huge thank you to everyone who took part, it really was a great day and a fantastic way to warm up for Christmas.
