The Rivers Agency project involved the on-site scanning and indexing of 24,000 cross sectional river engineering drawings. The contract included the development of a software system for the retrieval and use of the captured data.
Benefits
Creating a digital copy of their engineering drawings gave the agency a backup of these important files, freed up office space and the software system gave their staff the power to search for data at the touch of a button and to utilise data to assist with decision making.
